TECTAL AFFERENTS FROM TORUS SEMICIRCULARIS AND NUCLEUS PRoFUNDUS MESENCEPHALI AND THEIR CELLULAR MORPHOLOGIES IN AMPHIBIANS
|
Abstract:
That the amphibian tectum receives its inputs from the torus sernicircularis and the nucleus profundus mesencephali is revealed by retrograde transport of horseradish peroxidase deposited in the tectum. No mutual projections between two tecta can be observed.
