A STUDY OF EGG YOLK SAC SPHEROCRYSTAL IN PERIOD OF THE EMBRYO DEVELOPING OF LAI-HANG CHICKEN
|
Abstract:
The egg yolk sac spherocrystal emerged in period of the embryo developing of Lai-hang chicken has been studied by X-ray diffraction and polarized light microscopy. The result indicated that egg yolk sac spherocrystal is essentially made up of CaCO3, with the structure both vaterite and calcite. A great amount of sub-microstructure of egg yolk sac spherocrystals have been observed using scanning electron microscope (SEM) . Finally, the significance of the results has been discussed preliminarily.
