STUDY ON THE CONTRACTION MECHANISM OF THE FROG INTACT MUSCLE FIBRES STIMULATED BY THE ELECTRIC FIELD USING THE ELLIPSOMETRIC METHOD
|
Abstract:
The effect of the static or pulsed electric field on the contraction of the frog intact muscle fibres is investigated. It is very clear when the electric field stimulates the intact muscle fibres, the SR releases the Ca ions, which could make the muscle contract. The experiments show that the sensitivity of the ellipsometric parameters depend on the sarcomere length, the relationships between the motion of the cross -bridge and different types of the electric field (static or pulsed) are same in quality, but different in quantity, and depolarization ratio is a function of the electric field strength. both in static or pulsed. The later result is raised by the competition of two mechanisms; one is electric attractive force between the LMM and HMM. which are polarized by the electric feild, and the another one is the force from the weakbinding cross -bridge transfering to the strong binding cross -bridge due to the Ca ions .
