INHABITION EFFECTS OF HIGH VOLTAGE ELECTROSTATIC FIELD (HVEF) ON GREEN MOLD AND BLUE MOLD OF CITRUS FRUITS
|
Abstract:
The spore suspensions of P.digitatum and P.italicum were treated by High Voltage Electrostatic Field (HVEF). Experiment in vitro results showed that the germination rate, germ tube length and sporulation of treated spores were significantly lower than that of control. The inhibition effect was correlated to treatment time. Spores treated for 20min in general had a better inhibition effect than treated for 10min. Compared to untreated fruits of control, the infection rate of treated fruits were significantly reduced, and the lesion diameter also developed slowly.
