MATHEMATICAL MODEL OF THE EFFECTS OF PLASMA CORTISOL ONHUMAN T LYMPHOCYTES RECIRCULATION
|
Abstract:
Based on circadian rhythms experimental data of human immune system, assumptions of the possible pathways of cortisol influencing on T lymphocyte recirculation are proposed. The authors present a mathematical model of human T lymphocytes recirculation considering the influence of plasma cortisol level. The intensity of the action of cortisol and the sensitivity of the results to important parameters are discussed. The model can be used to explain the stationary oscillation behaviour of T lymphocytes in lymphoid tissues and blood. The numerical results are in agreement with human immune circadian rhythm experimental data.
