LOCATION OF LESIONS IN APHASIA BASED ON 3D RECONSTRUCTION OF CT
|
Abstract:
This work is the first time to study Aphasia by the method of three-dimensional (3D) reconstruction of CT serial sections. The work includes three parts: (1) On the basis of a microcomputer graphics system, a set of finer standard CT images of brain was established and a standard three dimensional brain was set up. (2) The patients CT images were standardized and reconstructed into 3D structure by the improved method, which can use the information of CT images sufficiently, and give more accurate location of lesions. (3) 47 Aphasia patients of two types of clinical symptoms, but with similar location of brain lesions by CT were investigated. Using the improved standardized and 3D reconstruction method, different locations of lesions of these two types of Aphasia could be observed.
