THEORETICAL CALCULATION OF THE ACTION OF ELECTROMAGNETICPULSE TO A SPHERICAL BRAIN

Abstract:
A model of spherical brain has been constructed, which consists of skull and interior tissue with different constructive parameters. Under the radiation of electromagnetic pulse, the local electric field and SAR in brain has been calculated by the method of finite difference time domain(FDTD). The paper points out that the action period of electromagnetic pulse to a brain is longer than the width of the pulse, the local electrical fields in a brain are different and the SAR at the center of brain has a maximum. The safety for this has been discussed.
