THE CORRECTION FOR MULTIPHOTON EVENTS IN THE TIME CORRELATED SINGLE PHOTON TECHNIQUE

Abstract:
Multiphotoelectron loss and its correction in single photon technique are discussed on the basis of probability theory. For the single exponential decay the dependence of decay curve and lifetime measured on F (the number of photo-electrons measured per exciting light pulse) and decay time are described.
