A Study on Production of Lignin-degrading Enzymes Under Submerged Culture of Polyporus versicolor
|
Abstract:
The effects of culture mode, substrate conditions and additions of veratryl alcohol and surfactant Tween 80 on production of lignin-degrading enzymes were investigated. The shake culture in C-limited media was found to be more favorable to produce the lignin-degrading enzymes than that shake culture in N-limited media and static culture. The addition of veratryl alcohol was proved to be necessary to obtain the ligninase and was obviously able to increase the poly-phenol oxidase activity.
