THE VARIATIIONS OF M1 TO THE SEEDS OF TOBACCO IMPLANTED WITH ION BEAN
|
Abstract:
Using the methods of SDS-PAGE and RAPD, M1 to the seeds of tobacco after 30kev N implantation were investigated. Remarkable variations in experimental plants were detected both in RAPD reaction and water-soluble protein electrophoresis. No variation was detected in control plants. With the intensification of the implantation dose, the frequencies of RAPD variation increased. compared with the effect of ion implantation on germination percentage of seeds, the dose of 60 is more suitable for ion implantation of tobacco, has the relatively high variation rate and germination rate. When planted in field, the average height of experimental plants were higher than that of the control plants. A morphemic variation also be found in the experimental plants.
