Study on the Culture of Early Transgenic Rabbit Embryos in vitro and the Retention of Foreign Gene
早期转基因兔胚的培养及外源基因滞留的研究

We studied -the culture of early transgenic rabbit embryos containing the SMTPGH gene with different medium. The retention of foreign gene in the embryo was detected with PCR and nonradioactive labeling method. The early transgenic rabbit embryos can develop into blastocyst stages with 75% of developmental rate in the cultural medium of Tcl99+10%FCS. There were not any apparent changes found before 8-cell stage. After 8-cell stage, the foreign gene either was integrated on chromosomes or was lost gradually. But finally, the retention rate of foreign gene should be equal to the integration rate of the gene.
