Organic carbon content in major grassland types in Alex, Inner Mongolia

This study analyzed soil organic carbon content (SOC) in major types of grassland along the middle range of Helan mountain in Alex,Inner Mongolia. Factors affecting carbon distribution such as annual precipitation, temperature, plant cover and productivity, soil water content,<0.05mm particle content and soil pH were also monitored.
