FIRE DISTURBANCE HISTORY IN VIRGIN FOREST IN NORTHERN REGION OF DAXINGANLING MOUNTAINS
大兴安岭北部地区原始林火干扰历史的研究

The fire disturbance regime at landscape scale in a watershed of Alongshan forest farm in northern parts of Daxinganling Mts.was studied through investigating a large number of fire scar tree in 96 sample plots.The most common fire type was surface fire and fire area usually large.The mean fire interval was about 37 years and fire rotation period was about 30 years.All these fire disturbance regimes were due to the fire resistence of Larix gmelinii and the constructure character of this community.There were different fire disturbance regime among different forest compartment,forest stand and forest type of Larix gmelinii . Fire occurance was more frequent and fire intensity was lighter in drier sites.Stream in forest always circumscribed the fire spread in most case.
