EFFECTS OF HEAVY METAL POLLUTION IN SOIL ON THE MUCOSA EPITHELIA CELL ULTRASTRUCTURE INJURING OF EARTHWORM''S GASTEROINTESTINAL TRACT
|
Abstract:
The ultrastructure of the mucosa epithelium cell in the gasterointestional tract of theearthworm Pheretime califonia in the heavy metal polluted soil with TEM were observed inthis paper. The results indicated that the ultrastructure of mucosa epithelium cell of P. califonica wasdamaged obviously in slightly and heavely polluted area. Their pathological feature showed theperinuclear space of the cell expanded, mitochodria swelled or isoagglutined, mitochondiacristae dissappeared or appeared vacudar structure, both Goli body and RER arised swellingand lysosome increased These pathological changes of the cell were more serlous in the seri-ouly polluted area than in the slightly polluted area.
