CO 2 ENRICHMENT AND ALLELOPATHY

CO 2 enrichment has a series of effects on plant growth and development such as photosynthesis and carbon allocation etc.. Allelopathy is a relatively new area.This paper gives an overview about the relation between CO 2 enrichment and allelopathy,and describes the current status of the research about the effects of CO 2 enrichment on leaf secondary metabolites,root exudates,residue degradation and allelochemicals.The priorities,which should be addressed on the global change and allelopathy,were discussed.
