A STUDY ON PREDATION OF Coccinella septempunctata ON DIFFERENT RANGES OF STARVATION
饥饿对七星瓢虫捕食作用的影响

Coccinella septempunctata adults on various ranges of starvation preying on Schizaphis graminum was studied.The results was as follows: (1)The functional reactive types of C.septempunctata adults on various range of starvation had no difference; (2)The predacious number of C.septempunctata adults on S.graminum had no difference in various starving conditions; (3)The predacious number ( Na ) of C.septempunctata adults on S.gramiunum had a variation with time ( t )as shown in the models: Na =90/(1-e 94534-0 15745 t )and Na =90/(1-e 0 87285-0 12985 t )respectively; (4)The predacious rate ( V ) of C.septempunctata adults on S.graminum had no significance difference in 24 hours,the models on the relationship between predacious number and time ( x ) shown as: V =8 3559 x -1 2460 and V =4 3487 x -0 5964 ,respectively.
