Abstract:
Leaf Area Index (LAI) is the main parameter in quantifying vegetation by means of remote sensing. The temporal variation in LAI is indicative of the evolution process of regional ecology. Vegetation index (VI) has been used widely for modeling vegetation. The applicability of the established models is subject to the local climate in different regions.
