ACTINOMYCETES IN DIANCHI, ERHAI AND LUGU LAKE IN YUNNAN

The strains of actinomycetes were isolated from samples taken from lake Dianchi,Erhai and Lugu lake .The quantity and composition of propagules capable of forming colonies on isolation media were investigated. Actinomycetes would be able to play a significant role in the decomposition of chitin, cellulose and some toxic substances.
