EFFECTS OF CADMIUM AND IRON ON THE SOME PHYSIOLOGICAL INDICATORS IN LEAVES OF TOBACCO
|
Abstract:
Based on the pots and simulated field experiments, this paper provided information about the changes of some physiological indicators in leaves of tobacco Nicotiana tabacum under the tretment of single Cd, single Fe, Cd+ Fe and Fe+Cd. The results showed the contents of chlorophyll a, chlorophyll b and chlorophyll a + b in leaves of tobacco decreased with the increase of the concentration of Cd, and increased with the increase of the concentration of Fe. The contents of nicotine decreased with the increase of the concentration of Cd( 0-100ppm), and increased a little by Cd 150ppm, and increased with the increase of the concentrationt of Fe. The contents of protein increased with the increase of the concentration of Cd, and decreased with the increase of the concentration of Fe.Therefore, the effect of Cd on chlorophyll, nicotine and protein decreased by Fe, the effect of Fe on them decreased by Cd. The interaction between Cd and Fe was antagonistical, antagonistical mechanism have been frequently investigated.Besides, We researched the changes of the activity of peroxidase and CMP in leaves of tobacco under the treatment of single Cd. The results showed the activity of peroxidase and CMP increased with the increase of the concentration of Cd.
