THE ANALYSIS OF NUTRITIONAL ELEMENTS FROM LARCH PLANTATION

Abstract:
The nutritional elements contained in the litter accumulated for 4 years from larch plantation were analyzed. It is found that the larch annually produces 3099.5kg/ha of oven-dried fallen materials composed of leaves,branches,bark and so on, and the broadleaved-trees produce 237.4kg/ha, totalling 3336.9kg/ha. The analysis results show that the concentiaticns of the nutrients vaiy significaatly with different litter containing leaves the most and bark the least. The elements that returned to the soil, including N,P,K,Ca,Mg,Zn,Mn, amount to 98.8697kg, among whing are 85.5998kg from larch leaves, 10.8385kg fiom broadleaved-tree leaves, 2.0335kg fiom larch branch, 0.13kg from larch bark, and 0.27kg from broadleaved-tree bark.
