The objective of this paper is to examine the relations between acid rain and element content in the rings of a native species Pinus massoniana , which is sensitive to acid rain pollution in Dinghushan Nature Reserve (DNR), located in one of the areas with quickest industrial growth and severest acid rain pollution in China.
