The ecological distribution of soil collembola in Jiuhua Mountain
九华山土壤跳虫的生态分布

We collected 5904 individuals of Soil Collembola in four habitats in Jiuhua Mountains,and found that they belonged to 10 families and 52 genera. There were 14 genera in Isotomidae, whose quantity accounted for 72.09% of the total collected collembola. Among them, the individual number of \%Folsomia\% took the absolute predominance. There were marked difference among composition of Soil Collembola community in different habitats. Species number and quantity were the richest in the soil layers of mixed forest. In the soil layer and litter layer, the species number and quantity of the community in the high elevation habitat were more than those in the low elevation.\% H\% and \%E\% of the soil collembola community in the soil of shrub meadon were high and there were little change among seasons. Species number and quantity of each community both increaseed in Autumn and Winter. In the Aoo layer,the two commnuities on the mountains increased much more. The soil collembola tended to congregate to the sarface horizon in all habitats.
