Bio-chemical properties of the forest floor in subalpine bamboo communities in western Sichuan

Abstract:
The standing pool, biological and chemical properties of the forest floor in three subalpine bamboo communities in western Sichuan were studied in this paper . Results showed that the standing pool was in order of the bamboo-fir-spruce forest (46.3×10~3 kg/hm~2) > bamboo-fir-spruce-birch forest (25.8×10~3 kg/hm~2)> bamboo-birch forest (6.5×10~3 kg/hm~2) at first.
