GIS-based analysis of the spatial-temporal variation of phytoplankton in the Western Guangdong Waters

Based on the 4 cruises investigation data of phytoplankton in the Western Guangdong Waters from 1998 to 1999, we analyzed and simulated the spatial-temporal distribution patterns and the density center variations of phytoplankton cell abundance in the area with the linear interpolation method supported by Geographical Information System (GIS).
