Preliminary Studies on The Role of Dynamin 1 in Hippocampal Injury Induced by Stress
|
Abstract:
Dynamin1 is one member of Dynamin family, and it plays an important role in endocytosis and recycling of synaptic vesicles. The animal models and cell models of hippocampal injury were respectively established to study the role of Dynamin1 in the hippocampal injury process. The results showed that the long-term potentiation (LTP) of hippocampus of different restraint intensity rats was gradually weakened while synaptic vesicle endocytosis was reduced in cell models, and both were accompanied by decreased expression of Dynamin1. These results indicated that the decreased expression of Dynamin1 caused by stress lead to the decline of LTP effect and learning and memory weakness through inhibiting the synaptic vesicle recycling.
