THE STUDY ON ACOUSTIC TRANSMISSION CHARACTERISTICSOF LUNG-THORAX SYSTEM BASED ON SUB-GLOTTAL VOICE SOURCE
|
Abstract:
In this paper, according to the physiology and biophysics principle of voice and respiratory system, physical model of transmitted sound about the generation and transmission in sub-glottal vocal tract and lung-thorax system is presented. Using the method of complex cepstrum, the sub-glottal voice source is obtained from the transmitted sound of V-slot below neck. It is an excellent method of obtaining sub-glottal source. According to the physical model, the acoustic transmission characteristics of lung-thorax system are investigated from the sub-glottal voice source and the recored transmitted sound in various locations on the chest wall. Experimental results show that it is a good way of studying sound transfer function of lung-thorax system.
