DISTRIBUTION OF GABA - IMMUNOREACTIVE NEURONS IN NUCLEUS ISTHMI OF PIGEON

Distributive character of GABA -immunoreactive neurons in the nucleus isthmi of pigeon was srudied by immunocytochemical technique. The results show that GABA - positive neurons are distributed through all Imc erenly and they are about 41% of all neurons in Imc. While in Ipc the GABA - positive neurons are only distributed in the rostromedial part.
