EFFECTS OF HIGH VOLTAGE ELECTROSTATIC FIELD (HVEF) ON IMBIBITION OF SOYBEAN SEEDS AT LOW TEMPERATURE
|
Abstract:
Pretreatment of soybean seeds with High Voltage Electrostatic Field (HVEF) prior to lowtemperature exhibition decreases the Tnembrane permeability and lowers the inorganic ion andorganic substance leakage daing exhibition of soybean seeds at low twerabe. HVEFpretutment also inCreases the abilities of Peroxidase, Catalase, Superoside dismutase, Amylaseand dehydrogenase, and the content of soluable protein While rnalondinldehyde content insoybean sacs pretreatal with HVEF was markedly lower than that in the coneal. Thus, israce the gennination rate. The experiment suggests that HVEF pretreatment may promote thechanges of membrane phase and repair repair membrane damage during low temperature imbibitioonof soybean seeds.
