SYNCHRONOUS OSCILLATIONS IN THE NEURAL NETWORK MODEL WITH DYNAMIC NEURONS

Abstract:
Recently there is a hypothesis that the same visual object is represented by the synchronous oscillatory activities of a group of neurons,the temporal characteristics of such discharging activities of neurons is essential to understanding the binding problem in visual information processing. In this paper,the synchronous oscillatory activities of the biological neural network were simulated with a network of delayed nonlinear oscillators based on our simplifying realistic neural network model; The relationship between the parameters setting in the oscillator and its oscillation, and the influence of the coupling between the oscillators in the network on the oscillation activities were also examined.
