THE EFFECT OF HEXVXBIGUANIDINE HYDROCHLORIDE ON THE ACTIVITY AND CONFORMATION OF CREATINE KINASE
|
Abstract:
With fluorescence, ultraviolet difference and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) techniques, the effect of hexylbiguanidine hydrochloride (HBGC) on the activity and conformation of creatine kinase (CK) were studied. At a HBGC concentration of 0.07mol'L. C K would be entirely inactivated. After C K is denatured at a high concentration of HBGC, it is very easy to be renatured by dilution. The change of activity is much earlier than that of conformation. It is different from Decyltrimethyl Ammonium Bromide that HBGC can cause the secondary structure of C K to be randomized.
