AN IMMUNOCYTOCHEMICAL ANALYSIS OF THE NUCLEUS ROTUNDUS AND NUCLEUS ISTHMI IN PIGEON
家鸽圆核和峡核的免疫细胞化学分析

The distribution and morphological features of AChE-and ChAT-positive neurons in the N.Rt and the Imc of pigeon were studied by histochemical and immunocytochemical tech niques. The results reveal that there are about 63% ChAT-immunoreactive neurons in the N.Rt, and all Imc neurons are positively stained for ChAT. However they are evenly distributed throughout N.Rt and lIne. Their morphologies are described.
