The conjoined twins of Gusau, Nigeria

A case study of Thoracopagus conjoined twins complicated with rupture of the uterus in presented. The patient was admitted after a prolonged second stage of labour. Diagnosis was made at laparotomy. Problems in diagnosis are discussed and the benefits of antenatal care and confinement under skilled supervision are emphasized.
