Fulgoromorpha and Cicadomorpha (Hemiptera) infesting bracken (Pteridium aquilinum)

The abundance of six species of leafhoppers and planthoppers infesting bracken Pteridium aquilinum was determined in SW Poland. The paper describes the insects associated with the plant on the basis of their ecological characteristics. The population dynamics of the dominant species Ditropis pteridis Spinola (Delphacidae) is plotted.
