A description of the mature larva of Philonthus lepidus (Gravenhorst, 1802) - a stenotopic species of rove-beetle

The mature larva (L3) of Philonthus lepidus (Gravenhorst, 1802) is described for the first time; 31 detailed illustrations of structural features are provided. This species together with four others previously described by the authors are included in a modified key of Philonthus species.
