Un acercamiento a la ética feminista del cuidado pastoral cristiano

approach to the feminist ethics of the christian pastoral nurse abstract the nurse role has been a key part of the socialisation process in most of women, going deeply into patriarchal schemes, in particular the church. our paper is based on the question posed by the ethical theologian mary bernadette ryan (2006) who made the observation that female christian leaders remain subjected to the role of nursing, a sort of female keepers or ？herdswomen？within sharp patriarchal structures. the question then is the following: how the activity of nursing has been used to dominate or leave aside women within the church? in my analysis i begin with my belief on ？nursing？ which is an expression of god？s love aimed at redeeming of a suffering world crying for love and caring. in trying to give response to these questions, the pastoral nursing is studied from a double theoretical approach: theological ethics assumed as a reflection on the practice of christian morality, within the context of care and feminist theology, giving support to a critical research about dynamics of power, oppression and women？s roles into the church. this will allow, beside the work done by other feminists, to carry out a criticism on ethics of pastoral nursing and thus to propose some ideas for future research and practice.
