UN HOMBRE MALTRATADOR DE SU PAREJA QUE PIDE AYUDA Y QUIERE CAMBIAR: UN ESTUDIO DE CASO

the man maltreating his couple (mmc) scarcely thinks he is committing an aggression to deserve a punishment, or that he has to be helped, not by any means that he needs psychological aid. the few male cases we have looked into bring our attention due to the force of conviction they bear to change, the speed to draw positive conclusions to seize that change, and the perseverance kept for consultation after the decision is made. the analysis on qualitative data aided for the systematisation of experiences about help delivering a model from a case of assistance rendered by the woman study centre of universidad central de venezuela (agreement with fundamujer), using the focused interview (ruiz-ispizúa, 1989). the main results point to the influence in decision on attitudes of the couple, the context of family and neighbourhood, the disagreement for the rejects received and the environment, giving finally a series of elements to reinforce the new position gained which ？clear up？ (to use the same words from the subject involved) the knowledge and the road necessary to provide aid, design the prevention and going on the research.
