La violencia más allá de lo visible

from the data obtained in annals on mortality, published by the ministery of health and social development between 1996 and 2003, and using the gender approach, we made an analysis on outside-produced mortality -murders, transit accidents, suicides and accidents of any sort- in order to know what is the incidence of this aspect of public health over the population of men and women in venezuela, along the lifetime. beside this point the analysis is also made on the available data on intra-family violence against woman -morbidity- and consider the eventual impact that this kind of violence could have on shaping the subject of violence. the paper concludes showing how both forms of violence affect the life quality of the population as a whole and particularly over those families suffering the grief of any of these causes.
