La crisis actual: Cambios en la regulación financiera y modificación de las fronteras entre lo público y lo privado

this paper seeks to study the consequences in terms of the political economy of the changes currently taking place in the regulation of the natural markets. to that end, it systematically sets out the main crisis management measures and proposals adopted at national and international levels, and examines them to determine whether changes are taking place in institutions to modify the workings of financial markets (encouraging certain behaviours and discouraging or forbidding others) and in what direction the border between the public and the private may have shifted in those markets (regulation versus self-regulation).
