Comportamiento productivo y reproductivo de ovinos Pelibuey en un sistema de pariciones aceleradas con tres épocas de empadre al a?oKeywords: hair sheep, reproduction, productive performance, accelerated lambing. Abstract: the aim of this study was to evaluate the productive and reproductive performance of a hair sheep flock in an accelerated lambing system. the data were obtained in salto de agua, chiapas state, in mexico. was developed an accelerated system with three lambing season. the mating seasons were in march, july and november 2007 resulting in a lambing season in august and december 2007 and april 2008, respectively. thirty nine hair ewes were used in a rotational grazing system with eight occupation days and thirty two of rest. from data were estimate productive and reproductive variables. the lambing ewe percentage in each lambing season was 70% and a high value in abort (8%). the number of lambs born per ewe lambing was 1,27 ± 0,49 with a pre-weaning mortality of 8,6 % and lambing interval of 268 days. the birth weight was 1,78 ± 0,59, with a weaning weight of 9,5 kg. the weaning daily gain average weight was 104 g per lamb per day and litter weight of 13 kg. due to the reproductive characteristics of pelibuey sheep is feasible to implement a model of three lambing in two years with similar productive indexes to other handling systems
