La limitación de la legislatura en Chile. Un estudio de opinión pública en la región metropolitana

the article analyses, in a theoretical perspective, the term limit and the incentives for the incumbent generated by the chilean electoral system. besides, it is studied the perception of the re-election limits by means of a telephone survey applied to the inhabitants of santiago de chile. the survey shows a general agreement for limiting the re-election through a specific law. however, the survey shows a group of contradictory opinions that hinders their comprehension and the possibility of legislating on the matter.
