the relationship between corporate social responsibility and organizational performance, in particular economic and financial performance, has been subject of intensive research, mainly in the anglo saxon context, but without getting into a consensus on the relationship between these variables. this paper aims to review the literature concerned with the corporate social responsibility concept and its impact in the organizational performance, particularly the economic and financial performance.
