Relación entre un método no destructivo y uno de extracción destructivo, para medir el contenido de clorofila en hojas de plántula de albahaca (Ocimum basilicum L)

measuring chlorophyll in leaves using the extraction method is a slow, costly and destructive process. the objective of this study was to determine the concentration of total chlorophyll in basil seedlings to be transplanted, using a spad-502 portable chlorophyll recorder and the method proposed by moran, and correlating both types of data. the use of the spad-502 made it possible to obtain a reliable chlorophyll reading, as its correlation with the destructive method generated an equation with an r2 of 99.9%.
