La similitud de los tratados silogísticos de Boecio y Apuleyo

the purpose of this study is to show that elucidating similarities between de syllogismo categorico by boethius and the peri hermeneias by apuleuis can contribute interesting evidence to the discussion over apuleuis's authorship of the perih, which is a difficult issue to determine with certainty. this article endeavors to show that not only the account of aristotelian logic given by the author of the perih (whether apuleuis or not), but also that of marius victorinus, which has not reached us, that of tullius marcellus carthaginensis, which also did not survive, and the later accounts by boethius and martianus capella are all based on the first and original account of aristotelian logic by theophrastus in his first analytic, or by an author in that context and time.
