Abstract: the alloys were produced by smelting and cooled in quiet air to room temperature; the micro structure dendrite type was analyzed in a previous work [1]. samples of obtained alloys were subject to a treatment of homogenization to 375 °c by 120 hours. modification of the microstructure was observed at 60, 100 and 120 hours in the zn alloys - 22 % p al and zn-22 % p al - 2 % p cu. the phases present in alloys were identified by optical microscopy. a differential thermal analysis was made to analyze the phase transformations. it is shown that the copper promotes the transformation of phase in the alloy zn - 22% p al - 2% p cu.
