beyond the disorganization of economies, decrease in economic growth, bankruptcy of firms, fading of immense values, unemployment, wage losses, suicides and other impacts, the ongoing crisis of capitalism has produced a rally for authors of the critical thinking. the philosopher slavoj ？i？ek wrote a text in which he makes a radical criticism to both classic and contemporary liberalism, retaking the communist utopia. if electoral democracy is the bourgeoisie's instrument for keeping control over society, a revolutionary move must create the means through which the subjects of the revolution may fulfill the emancipatory ideal. after the critique of western democracy, the author reintroduces the concept of dictatorship of the proletariat with emancipatory connotations. the question, anyway, is not satisfactorily resolved because dictatorship is a substantive idea that doesn't coincide with emancipation no matter the attributes it brings together.
