Abstract:

this paper presents a methodology based on ant colony optimization (aco) aiming at minimizing the costs of the thermoelectric generators daily operation. the proposed model makes use of a sensibility matrix (sm) based on information from the lagrange multipliers in order to improve the aco search process. in this way, a percentage of individuals uses this information in the colony's evolutionary process. simulations show that the use of the sm presents results with better solutions even when considering a reduced number of individuals.
