La expresión de la durée en la filosofía de Bergson

bergson's critic to the language, probably like every linguistic critic to the language, seems to lock him in a pragmatic paradox: how bergson manages to transmit the metaphysic intuition of the durée if the language appears to him so unable to express the nature of the spirit? we will intent to solve the problem by the application of bergson's own metaphysics and method to the question of language. the operation will force us to interrogate bergson's conception of language and to analyze in detail his prose. we will discover among other things that his style is not precisely "fluid", as some of his readers claimed, and that the metaphor is not the main figure of his speech.
