Gobernabilidad y cambio institucional en la Universidad Autónoma de Nayarit durante el periodo 2000-2008

this paper is aimed at analyzing the process of change implemented at the autonomous university of nayarit resulting from the institutional reform undertaken in recent years. it places particular emphasis on the effects of this process in the governance of the institution. it brings to light the existing implications of change from a neo-institutionalist framework, and thus deals with power relations, conflict and institutional arrangements that were made in the study period. it also aims to contribute to the understanding of the case in terms of institutional change and governance in the main public university in the state of nayarit.
