De lo épico a lo cotidiano: Jóvenes y generaciones políticas en Chile

although the evidence in chile shows that youth is an important variable for explaining levels of political engagement, electoral participation and social changes, this paper proposes a new generational category that could be adopted in future studies: the post-plebiscite political generation. working with lapop data, this article seeks a new approach to analyzing the divide between youth and adults, showing that, although there are important differences between both groups, there are also significant contrasts between those who participated in the 1988 plebiscite and those who did not.
