La cultura de la acción directa en la lucha económica de los asalariados

after one of the most severe processes of social crisis, and in spite of the current economic and political recovery, the argentine citizenry has developed several forms of social dissent. at the fore of various expressions of latent discontent, attention is drawn to non-conventional actions. our current research seeks to describe and analyze these non-conventional forms of social discontent in contemporary argentina, focusing on the existence of a direct-action culture. in this paper in particular, we analyze the representations on the use of direct action in workers？ economic struggles. as regards methodology, we carried out an exploratory study based on the 2006 survey of the research program on social change (picaso, in spanish), aimed at buenos aires metro workers.
